Games like this, I just don't understand why Alabama isn't playing zone vs a terrible shooting OM squad. Oats is married to his system to a fault at times.

That's relative to what you consider good or not. But it's well above average in the league. So to me... that's on the good side.

IMO he is just passive he wants to finish at the basket with finesse if he would be more aggressive and dunk he would at a minimum shot so many more FT's.

Hasn't been his best night, but he'll shoot out of it. He ain't the most talented and gifted player, but he gives Bama everything he has out there. If all the others did the same, this team's ceiling would be unlimited.

Good point. His effort is never less than 100%, I just wish his shooting could get closer to 40%.

Shooting 40% ain't easy. I'm glad he understands his role and makes play defensively. I appreciate his motor, unlike other players who play selfishly, whine, and take horrible shots (Bol Bowen).

He struggles at times, but he is the kind of guy I want at Alabama. He battles for his team and I think he truly loves his school, which you just don't see these days as often.
