🏀 🏀 2024-25 Season- {NCAA / SEC Games of the Week} -

UNC getting ass blasted right now. Hubert is definitely going to be fired. We better poney up because they'll make a run at Oats.
Man, I get you. I had even thought about the short leash UK will have with Pope if this season tanks and if they lose to Calapari? UK fans will be ultra pissed.

I also would like to think that we would take care of him and a new arena would not be off the table to keep him. (I would LOVE to think that but I am wishing upon a star at this point). CNO has built this program and it stands to be in better shape going into next year with some key players injured this year sticking with BAMA by all accounts. I think we will be really good next year if we can hold onto some guys this year.

Yep, it looked like the Cats were going to throttle them out of the gate. I'm not sure who I want to win.
I don't really hate UK or their fans. They sort of mirror us in how we act towards the football program.

That said, it is absolutely HILARIOUS to see them lose at home to Calipari. Especially after hating on him and Arkansas for almost a year now. Their social media has trolled Calipari for every single loss this season. And then we just waxed them in Rupp in a pretty raucous environment.

I also doubt Arkansas plays that well again this season.

(11) Kansas is giving 2.5 to (3) Iowa State ... 9 ET tonight.

I'm curious as to what the line looks like when UK visits Ole Miss tomorrow night. I'm thinking it's going to something like -4 to the 'Cats. UK losing to UT and Ole Miss dropping a game like they did to Auburn? I'm not sure what to make of this one (other than I'll watch.)

UK +2'

FanDuel. Metrics don't line up for that spread.
There isn't a wide margin here, but there is a margin. If you look at percentages UK is a better shooting team than Ole Miss. I mention that because they have both averaged about the same number of three point attempts (mid 30's) but UK shoots a little better. The same fits when you look at field goal percentage. There's a separation there.

Ole Miss shoots more mid-range. UK shoots more proximity. In both UK shoots better. I'm taking the team with the put back versus the 10' jumper. (Second chance points favor UK here as well.)

One thing that favors Ole Miss? Their break-away's. UK HAS to get back.

I'd take UK +2.

Jayhawks dropped the hammer on Iowa State. Cyclones on track to have their lowest scoring total of the season. 57 is their worst performance and it was a significant outlier. Doesn’t look like the same team that lost to Auburn by 2 at a neutral site.

It used to be "fire an assistant." Now, joining the fray, "hire a GM."

Hubert Davis (UNC) made the announcement he's following the same path we're seeing so many other programs traverse. Will it save his job?

That dude is toast after this season. UNC fans have sold themselves the belief that Oats is already packing up to Chapel Hill. Sounds like another fan base I remember.
