šŸˆ Based on the post-media days, pre-season polls ... here's your playoff teams minus three. Fill in the blanks.

@It Takes Eleven '99, week after the Arkansas win at BDS...

I had a friend who was attending grad school. She asked me to help her move from SC to Tuscaloosa. I told her I'd drive, but I wouldn't be involved in loading/unloading the heavy stuff. (I had really screwed up an ankle playing tennis a few weeks earlier; still black and blue to the knee.)

I was on the w side of ATL and she 'radioed' me and asked, "are you going to pull over?"

Me: "For what?!?!"

Her: "The State Trooper. He's behind you, lights flashing, and has been for a minute or so."

I had been hitting the yellow line; almost riding on it at times. But, the wind from the south that day was 20+ mph constant: the truck was being blown.

State Trooper: "Why didn't you pull over?"

Me: "If you are so close to the back of the truck I can't see you, how am I supposed to know where you are or what you are doing?"

ST: "This is just a training exercise..."

as for the G5.... one of Memphis/ Tulane/ Liberty.
Wouldn't you think these are three great examples of how pre-season rankings are going to affect the selections? Will any of these teams be ranked higher than Boise? And by ranked, I mean where outside the top 25.

FWIW, I don't thing we see a G5 in the first AP or Coaches poll. CFP committee? šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø

(I guess it's G6 now.)

I think you may be right.
But, when have the polsters ever use common sense? At least in recent years...

If it's North American Van Lines take inventory of everything and don't take your eyes off the movers, though I assume it isn't since you're hauling it yourself.
Thanks, using a local mover to load my furniture on a U-Haul and then Two Men, No Truck to unload. We've already moved cabinets, closets, all small stuff, guns and the like. We were largely down to just furniture, not much left to pilfer. We had them load a truck and move a bunch of stuff to the garage so the guy we're giving it to can load it easily. The new owners asked to buy a few pieces of furniture, most of it we were happy to hand off. I'm sitting here waiting for my wife to return from a Goodwill trip, then we'll load her up and drive west.

My cousin and his wife just did the same thing. She had to jump in their asses about banging things around and actually put 6-7 holes in the walls in their new house and several in the house they were moving from. Not uhaul employees, just subs they offer contracts through. Do check behind them.
