With all the stuff going on...it's plays like this that are making me fall back into MLB. Just because it's baseball.

I have not gotten back there yet but growing up and well into my adult years Baseball was my favorite sport to play and then follow. Would love to find that passion again and certainly things like this remind me of why I did love it so much.

We were out to eat and I was watching that live. I made my wife turn around for the replay. The guy was proud and embarrassed at the same time, and the pitcher went from agony to joy in a second.

That’s pretty cool! I had a high school teammate who hit grand slams in back-to-back innings for the Nationals in 2009. I figured that was a first, but not so. Still a great accomplishment.

I am amazed, even more so as each season passes, at the lack of quality closers in MLB. You'd think, as much as teams value starting pitching, they'd really shift and put an equal focus on the development of closers coming up through the ranks much more than they do. Way too many ballgames are blown because so many of these guys can't consistently get 3 outs without giving up 3 runs.
