Bama just needs to show some improvement. I'm not expecting a series win, though that would be great. I just want to see them finally clean up some of the fielding issues. Put more balls in play and not leave as many on base when at the plate. Avoid big inning meltdowns on the mound. The only thing keeping Bama from being the worst team in the SEC right now us South Carolina. It's time for this team to find some self-respect.

I've got it stashed in a baseball bookmark folder. I use the D1 site the most, but WarrenNolen is also really good. And it's a better layout and easier to navigate. A "cleaner" site. D1 is very glitchy at times.
 
Bama wins it, 6-0! First solo no-hitter since 1942!

Wow. I wasn't sure they had a performance like this in them. Florida is an overrated team IMO, but forget the opponent. This was the best performance this Bama team has shown all season. Fay was spectacular. Everyone in the lineup contributed and covered for Lebron's struggles. Lebron and the defense played well... only error was from Fay on an early game pickoff attempt throw. Bama hit it well in some key moments and also played the small ball cards to perfection against the Gators to score some runs. All in all, great win in terms of HOW they won. I hope that game gives them some confidence and maybe they can build on it. Still a long way to go and an uphill battle it'll be.

But for tonight, congrats to Tyler Fay... that was awesome. 9 innings, no hits, no runs, 13 K's and 2 walks. And against the Gators. What a line.
