If there's a modicum of confidence in either him or Torres, it vanishes the minute they wake up in the morning to sit and pee.

I've tried not to bash the kid, he doesn't deserve that... but Vaughn putting Torres 4th in the order every freaking game just give me this visual...

Well, tomorrow is going to say a lot about this team. Arkansas is better than their #22 ranking, they've just been in a bit of a swoon lately... basically the opposite of Bama who was riding high in the clouds. The Hogs were always going to find their footing, and it looks like they did it this weekend. But for Bama, they haven't helped themselves. They've regressed to their mean so far this weekend, which isn't a good sign. The timely hitting continues to be an issue. The fielding issues that the team cleared up during their winning stretch has cropped back up (4 errors in their last 2 games now). Lebron is pressing at the plate and is a wild card in the field, playing nowhere near his potential. And to top it all off, the relief pitching has absolutely tanked this weekend.

And re: Torres... I like Vaughn. A lot. But he’s going to have to learn that in the SEC, you gotta make tough decisions. One of those is re: Torres. I don't care what some juiced up analytics calculations says, it's a detriment to the team to have him in the #4 spot. It was like that last year and Vaughn finally moved him some late in the season. Nothing has changed this season. If he's in the lineup at all, he should be in the 7th or 8th spot. That's it. Just today alone... he came up every inning with at least 1 runner on base and went 0-5 with a K and 2 DP's. And I hate shitting on him because it's not his fault he's in there every day. And he does at least play hard. Bottom line, Vaughn has to make the move. There are other guys who are struggling as well, but there is a massive hole in the middle of the lineup that is keeping a lid on this offense.

Dave Van Horn just showed Vaughn why he's an elite coach and the realism in the SEC. Arkansas came in struggling, yet hungry.

Unfortunate series but our bullpen got wrecked in back to back games in the 8th. Feel like once momentum barely shifted Arkansas' way, that's when you started seeing way more fielding errors.

Oh well. Just have to rebound and hopefully get back to playing well again. Still think this team could potentially go to Omaha.
