🏈 Barner coaches react to Rashaan Evans announcement

This is a pretty accurate depiction of many of their fans this evening...

I've seen posts calling for the family to be run out of town, their business to be boycotted, and all sorts of personal attacks. Now I know our fringe fan base isn't above such, but we aren't all one big gigantic, collective Christian Family® either.

yeah gotta love how so many come with the christian thing and how Auburn is a "God thing" but then when something doesnt go their way all that Christianity and love goes right out the window.

Yep, definitely a moment of disbelief there. Kind of feel bad for these coaches, because they just lost one of their biggest recruits to their biggest rivals out of their own backyard, literal back yard. That's gotta hurt, inserting the knife and turning type tuff. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy we got him, but I know we've been on that end of the table as well and I don't like it at all. It's the fans I'm happy to see upset, because they're the ones running their mouths, not the coaches so much. They know what they lost.

Some of you guys feel bad for Auburn?! Have you forgotten last season?

Hell, hearing we swiped him from under their noses was basically Christmas for me.

I don't feel bad for Auburn at all. I said I feel for the coaches based off the fact they have spent multiple years recruiting the guy, got a committment, he lives right there on campus already, and then he signs with us. I'm more than elated he chose us, but I know how bad it feels when we lose a recruit, so I can only imagine how it feels to lose a high profile recruit like Evans that you relentlessly pursued and poured hours and hours and hours of time into. I said in my post that I don't care about the fans, because they're the ones running their mouths, but the coaches is whom I said I could understand their grief. Don't take that as me taking a timeout from my day and saying a prayer for their hurt feelings, just saying I know it hurts and understand.

If I didn't feel bad about the trees, I sure won't feel bad about this. Coach Saban made a loud statement: He OWNS this state.

Gotcha. Yeah to be honest if WE found it surprising, I guess I can't imagine how THEY felt haha. I mean, he was a given to Auburn in my book.

Still in disbelief we nabbed him. I bet they are too.

Be careful with your plural personal pronouns in this subject!!! :icon_twisted:

Barner logic at it's best. Now some of their fans are saying that they are actually relieved that Evans picked us instead of them. The reason? Get this, it's because their "defense is LOADED as it is" so now they can "use that scholarship for the offense". So, we are to believe that they are so "loaded" on defense, that they had no use for him? :icon_lol: Whatever ya say, barners.......:jackoff2:

So loaded that they gave up nearly 300 yards passing and 200 yards rushing per game... 9th in scoring defense, 10th in run defense, 13th in pass defense, 12th in total defense... and thats in the SEC folks not the nation... boy that defense obviously doesnt need any help, loaded for sure... where is that dripping "sarcasm" emoticon again?
