🏈 Barn Board: How bad does Bama beat us?

Wow those Auburn folks aren't giving themselves a chance. There's a difference between a realist and a pessimist. Talk about loyalty...

Either way, It's good huntin' for us Bama fans in the next two weeks. At least for us. Alabama, however, will treat these next games like they have all season - like they're playing the best team in the nation. They wont slip. RTR

Nah, I'm sure the next two weeks will be full of the delusional AUnecks that honestly think they have a chance to wear us out. I've already talked to several here in Ga. and they were as doing as I expected, talking crap.

Georgia has made some marginal football teams look like world beaters this year. SEE South Carolina and Tennessee. Auburn should have beaten them, but watching those two 1 armed drunks fight last night to a 31-24 end was depressing.

It's not surprising, given how much folks round here hate the Barn, but I gotta say, they can't win. If they were talking about how they were going to beat Bama, like they were when they were 5-0, y'all would say they're delusional. Now they're being realistic and admitting that the Tide will likely beat the hell out of them, they're 'pathetic' and 'disloyal.'

If I'd just witnessed that piece o' crap (and let's be honest, it's not like it's that long ago we were doing so) I'd be depressed too.

Heres a few of there comments,

Depends on how cute they get. If they work on their passing game, maybe by only 31. If they run up the middle with ingram and Richardson, then maybe by 45.

I'm thinking a little worse than last year.

we don't score. We have minus rushing yards. Tate has less than 10 yards rushing.
Thing is, winning or losing tonight would have no effect on how bad bama beats us. It was gonna be bad either way.

About as bad as they want to, which will be really bad.

I'd like to see #1 a victory, #2 Ingram make a "good enough" showing, and #3 Richardson run silly on them...as a sign of things to come. and #3.a Star Jackson finish with a TD pass on them like GMac did last year...you know, 'cause we are all about tradition.

Even in our worst years, I've never heard Bama fans talking about how badly the barn was going to beat us.
Regardless of how strong (cough, cough) they were, or how bad we were struggling, we always thought we at least had a chance. And most of the time, we did. :a:

If we beat them, they already knew we were going to. If they beat us, then these losers think it a great example of reverse psychology. Either way, we will kick their teeth in. Their comments exemplify the core difference(s) between us and them.

There's the thing.

I can recall many conversations with rival fans about games when we were dealing with the crunch of sanctions. In those situations, I didn't have a problem admitting "______ will likely win." But, at the same time I could point to a few ways the Bama team could win.

I haven't looked for it but I'd love to see a breakdown from one of their fans on how they think they can win. It's possible, albeit improbable.
