What if we would have had Florida yeaterday instead of Ole Miss....Honest opinions on how you guys feel we would have performed...on both sides of the ball.

Bama's offense wasn't good enough to beat the Gators yesterday, but the defense was.

The Gators offense didn't play well enough to beat us yesterday either. It would have been a great game that may come down to a missed field goal. Yesterday, our kicker was on and theirs missed one so I say we would have won yesterday 9-6

yep that would have been a very low scoring affair but i woulda been afraid to put Tebow on the field against that Bama defense yesterday, he woulda got hurt.

oranges and apples.. florida will not pressure gmac like ole miss did.. they do not have a greg hardy.. we had trouble runing on them last year as well.. we ripped florida between the tackles.. ole miss is a stronger team up front, but florida has a superior secondary.. there are very few greg hardys.

i think everyone knows the answer to that question when speaking about our defense. florida is probably more one dimensional than ole miss, but they have an entire backfield of mclusters.


i was thinking about gmac and saturday might have very well been the first time he has had that much of a pass rush on him.. EVER.. his highschool went 15-0.. he hasn't had really any pressure this year.. i'm sure he will learn from it.

Yea...That game yesterday will most certainly help GMAC on down the road....good dose of experience there.

i was thinking about gmac and saturday might have very well been the first time he has had that much of a pass rush on him.. EVER.. his highschool went 15-0.. he hasn't had really any pressure this year.. i'm sure he will learn from it.

Heck, I hope our offensive line learns from it or else GMac may start developing JPW Syndrome. :frown:

I don't mind our fans looking ahead since they don't take the field, thank goodness, but definitely would be worried if our team did the same.

I don't think Coach Saban will let that happen; I'm sure they have already started to focus on the Gamecocks.

I agree...USC will bring it on defense. But we as fans have the luxury to make comparisons such as this...and brainstorm some...I hope so anyways. And I suspect Saban is already working on his Florida gameplan...but I of course could be completely wrong. My point of this was to see how everyone thought our level of play would have matched up.

Trust me I am not flaming anyone I just think I heard enough this past wk. about TEBOW,TEBOW,TEBOW FLA,FLA,FLA. It has been anoying!
