at the half right now. I'm not sure how this team will end up, but they are exciting to watch. They hustle and get after it on defense... something that has really been missing in recent years. They closed out the first half with some big plays... usually we were on the other end of those in recent seasons. Anyway, BAMA is up 42-36.

Friday night, with the win over Providence, I was as impressed as I've been in several years with our program.

I do see a team still learning their offense. But, in that game I saw the defense step up a notch AND the offense go on a run to close the game out.

I can't tell you the last time I saw that. Maybe Florida with AP's layup to win?

I like actually seeing them play fast and actually with some control. The last few years they would try and break and it would be like everyone was playing street ball. 1st game ive seen this year and im really liking what im seeing. Thing about it is is they arent anywhere near deep enough right now to play Grant's style all the time and they arent giving up when something bad happens like in years past

Man that was some exciting basketball. Most college basketball fans are probably use to that style of play in some shape or form, but it sure is new to us in T-town. To think that Grant doesn't even have his style of players in the program yet also...

Not trying to pump the sunshine in here...just like to see a program with potential finally.
