I know I'm usually the negative guy around here, but one thing you have to give this team is that they play their asses off for Coach Grant. They never even think about quitting and Lacey has become a really clutch guy.

I follow you Alum05, it was a great fighting win. The guys never gave up & we got that Vandy monkey off our back. But I feel you a bit on the negative regarding the offense, in fact some of your posts to that effect have opened up my eyes to that issue. I wonder how much of it Coach Grant understands some of the short fall due to experience, injuries, etc that has him running such bland offense. I dunno.

Couldn't agree more. My wife said at the end, "Those guys really love their coach." They play to the end. If they ran their offense all the time the way they do down eight with five minutes to go, they might have something.



Great win. Wouldn't it be something if they won every game in February? It could happen.

Anyone get a chance to watch Florida and Ole Miss? Florida is scary good. They look like they're doing the same thing over and over and they never, ever even get close to having a shot clock violation. They still lead the SEC in defense. Even though Henderson for Ole Miss had 25, he hit one three in the last minute down by 20 and the others he hit were unbelievable shots - closely guarded on the move. He never got a chance to get set.

Florida has Murphy - the 6'10" shooter who reminds me of a more heavyset version of Wiltjer from Kentucky.
I'm not looking forward to Bama playing UF.

We just find a way to win....Ugly as hell though, very stressful...Was listening to Chris Steward on Iheart radio and he was really giving it to the refs...I also heard a lot of Alabama fans there chanting "Roll Tide" and "Defense", THAT is amazing.

Anyways, glad the curse is gone, great win, lots of work to do on offense, but a great win regardless

There were only 3 fouls called on Vandy in the first half. They picked up their 3rd foul of the second half with 5:07 left in the game. A team can not play 35 minutes in an SEC game and commit only 6 fouls.

Releford spent about the last 4 minutes of the game on the sidelines holding an ice bag on his head, but no call.

SEC officials are the worst..I remember the game versus Vandy last year where they called Lacey for a charging foul when the Vandy player never set position, but when our guy (think Jamychael) clearly set his ground, they call a blocking foul....Just hate how they call the game differently as the game wears on.
