🏀 BAMA travels to Texas A&M for the last regular season game of 2018.

What a cruel world, seeing Tenn and Auburn share the SEC Title.

Some say the SEC is the best conference for basketball. In my opinion, you're overreaching on this by a mile.

Oh yeah...lets wait until next year....we will be much better.....and ______ fill in the blanks on how that player will improve

30 games into the season and they play like they just returned from that trip to Canada. It has to be the players for no way could it be the coaches.

18 for 60 against Florida and 21 of 56 against A&M from the floor. What part of coaching applies when the team can't buy a basket?

It is possible if they would quit stepping on their own shoelaces and play fundamental basketball their quality of shots might improve. This whole thing is like looking at a 9 car pileup and trying to figure out who's mostly at fault. Plenty of blame for all in this epic collapse.

There's plenty of reasons as well. Out of these last five losses let's not forget they were to teams that are currently projected as a 3 seed, 5 seed, 8 seed, 6 seed, and a 7 seed. (I think I've got those right.) What's pesky is we're still looking at some wins over some of those seeded teams as well.

We could go back one year and we'd see the same thing posted about the SEC in March Madness. We saw how those prognostications went as well with three SEC working their way into the Elite 8.

A couple of SEC teams could work their way up the food chain. But our conference has been praised for our depth all season and if we get a healthy number in as projected and start dropping like flies that won't be a good look.

We just played Florida in Gainsville a few weeks ago and that performance was probably the best road win of the season. The return match defies logic and understanding. These aren't unfortunate, down to the wire finishes, these are the kind of games that make you wonder what is going on in T-Town.

We're about to learn what kind of Game the AD brings to the table. The BB tickets will be sold regardless but whether the fans actually show for the games could be a different thing. Drinking cold beers in the bar at the Capstone and then walking out and buying tickets for 5 bucks 40 minutes for the Tip might be headed our way again.

Bama needs to start being serious about basketball. Either make a run at a top tier coach or don’t and enjoy the mediocre crap that we're all used to
You want to call Grant's tenure mediocre, I'd readily agree. One only has to look at wins over ranked teams to find evidence: 0-27.

Calling what has happened these last three years just isn't doing the team, or coach, any service especially when considering the wins over ranked teams this season.

Sitting on that table is a figure of 9 million...heck of a lot of money for a buyout with just three years in. I'm betting we see CAJ next season as well.
An AD that would sign a BB coach at Alabama to a contract with a 9 million buyout is stupid. Pay the guy more salary but the buyout has to be no more than 3/4 million to be paid by installments over a 5 year window. If that isn't good enough then you have hired the wrong coach.
