Just like with the USA Today poll, we are in an excellent starting position.

Should we be surprised with Holtz picking Notre Dame for the BCS title game.

We have somehow managed to be ranked #5 and recieve smaller national attention than certain teams with 6-11 rankings.

Jeez, well if the firsst game goes as planned, I am sure we will get alot of buzz again.

and what is as planned brah???

A holy living beatdown of a Virginia Tech team that is almost as overrated as Clemson was last season...maybe more. Clemson had s better offense and the defenses were comparable with Clemson giving up about a half point per game more. Tech doesn't have quite as many question marks on the OL this year as Clemson did, but sometimes wholesale replacement is better than returning a crap line intact. With the problems Tech had on punt return coverage last year, Clemson would probably have beaten Tech last season 17-3-ish.

The VT offense will be shut down and Alabama will systematically pick apart the VT defense. The end result will be kinda ugly, but the score will not indicate how dominant Alabama really was - kind of like the Clemson game.

That is the plan. Surely you knew that?
