🏈 Bama Presser tomorrow-early entrees

Looks like Tim Williams has a growing reputation beyond QB sacks.

Teams Think Tim Williams Could Slip to Round 2

I don't buy it... unless you're saying Saban doesn't abide by the University Drug Policy...

First failed test- None

Second failed test- 15 percent of games (one game)

Third failed test- One year

Fourth failed test- Dismissal

I would find it hard to believe Saban would turn a blind eye to the University Rules...

Now, does he have a drug problem.. maybe, but I don't buy that he's failed "many" test...

I'm not saying any of it. Should be something Saban wouldn't allow to stand as a rumor if not true. Teams start a lot of rumors to try to move players to the lower rounds and it could be that. But given Williams recent past, I hope Alabama decides to go on record with it.

NFL teams also start rumors to make teams ahead of them rethink their choices. If Team A and Team B both have a high need for an edge rusher, and Team B has a higher draft position than Team A, it's not inconceivable that Team A starts rumors about the value of a player to get Team B to pick somebody else. If Williams failed multiple drug tests, he wouldn't have been on the field.

There is nothing in that article that is journalism... it's just a repeat of what some other blog/person said. I has nothing that they developed or verified on their own... It's just click bait, but that's all these "blog" sites are. I've always thought Sat Down South was as much crap as every other "online" blog source to just be a sounding board for what someone else says/post.

Pretty much what I tweeted Tyler. Lazy.

Sup with so many black kids refusal to put the blunt down?

I hit a bowl every once in a while, but why so many failed tests for him? It's not even chemically addictive.

And "many failed tests"? First I've heard of it. Failed where? Here? Doesn't the SEC/NCAA have a substance abuse policy? How was he still eligible to play? Did we not report the "many failed tests"?

Concerning.

The NCAA doesn't administer many drug test... most are administered by the University and handled under university policy, each school has their own policy. UA's is :

First failed test- None
Second failed test- 15 percent of games (one game)
Third failed test- One year
Fourth failed test- Dismissal

Failing a NCAA drug test for street drugs would be suspension for 50% of season on 1st failure. 2nd failure loss of a year of eligibility and have to site out 365 days from test date.
Failing a NCAA drug test for PED would be 1 year suspension (365 days from test failure)

What that article is stating is that he failed Many drug test and if that is the case, then he would have had to miss at least 1 game (2nd offense by school rule). If he did fail 2 test and we didn't make him sit, it would be a NCAA violation against the school... which is why I call it BS and poor reporting... IMO Saban would NEVER let the program be endangered because of ONE player...
