| FTBL Bama prepares to battle the Hogs with Mack Jones running the show

After going indoors on rainy Monday, Alabama was back outside on a very pleasant Tuesday.

A few notes from the media viewing window:

-- Tua Tagovailoa was scooting around the Alabama football complex in workout shorts and a t-shirt two days after surgery on his sprained ankle.

-- On the field, Mac Jones looked fired up as he was leading the quarterback drills. At one point he sprinted full speed from one end of a drill to the other. Taulia Tagovailoa was second in line followed by Paul Tyson. Nick Saban noted Monday that Taulia Tagovailoa would be Jones’ backup against Arkansas.

-- Watching the defensive line drills, it’s worth noting that Saban said Monday there was noting new on the timetable for LaBryan Ray’s return at defensive end. He’s been out since the South Carolina game with a foot injury.

-- It looked like nose tackle D.J. Dale had brace on his left arm that wasn’t there during the Tennessee game. He was still dressed out and doing all the drills.
