The Hilton in Vegas has the lowest with us -11. I've seen offshore as much as -12.5.

Going with the average, -11.5, I like Bama to cover as do about 60% of those putting money down on the game.

Interesting odds for the weekend...

Georgia is-10 vs Ole Miss. This is the same Ole Miss that found themselves two minutes away from being shut out by Vandy: shut out!

Auburn -33.5 playing Florida Atlantic. It's seems high, but the highest FAU finds themselves in the NCAA rankings is at 115th...and that's in points against.

I'm sure I'm the only person on here that doesn't know what it means.

Vegas has us to beat them by more than 11?

Has Auburn to beat whoever that is by more than 33?

Agbarn is playing what is arguably the worst football team in all of D1 - FCS and FBS combined. FAU is ranked 107 in total defense and 120 in total offense. Against Michigan State, they had 48 yards of total offense and 1 first down.

The barnerite coaches like to run up the score against lesser teams and pad their statistical ratings...If Agbarn doesn't beat them by 60 I will be shocked.

Using last week as examples...

The last line I saw on our game vs N. Tx. was Bama -46. We didn't cover since we only won 41-0. On that last possession, if we'd scored, we would have covered since we'd have won 48-0.

South Carolina was easy last week because they were favored (getting 18 points or -18) against Navy and there wasn't a shadow of doubt in my mind they couldn't beat Navy by 18 or more points.

I'm a little less "duh" about it now. I think I need a refresher at the beginning of every season - it's just the terminology that confuses me. You can pick win/loss only, or win and cover the spread. But what does it mean when my H is tossing around "I took the points" - I have no idea what he means. He means he thinks Bama will win but by less than 11? Or not? CONFUSING!:panic:
