Not nearly as bad as it used to be. There were 14 byes (obviously) in the original schedule. 13 teams chose SEC opponents to follow the off week. USC oddly chose UMass, but that follows with UT. Of the other 13 bye weeks, teams playing a rested team are Bama (2), Arkansas (2), aubrun (2), Florida (3), LSU (1), USC (1), Mizzou (1) and UGA (1).
For Alabama, we only play one team coming off a bye week when we also don't have a bye, and that's aTm. We share an off week with LSU. Like I said, not as bad as it was several years ago. This is an area where the league saw an inconsistency and addressed it.
Going a bit deeper, however, shows we still get fresh teams. We got Ole Miss after a tough Wofford game; Arkansas had Alcorn State; aubrun has Alabama A&M (but we have Chattanooga). That's pretty prevalent around the league.

Yeah, better than some but worse than most.
Florida is left carrying the bye week burden with 3 teams getting a bye before they play the Gators.
SEC teams who don't face a single team coming off a bye:
Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Vandy, Ole Miss, Texas A&M
