🏈 Bama Getting Sucked Into Scandal

The rules of law don't apply to NCAA investigations. If their investigation finds enough circumstantial evidence, they can take that to the school. The accuser is likely to have evidence. Eventually, someone will break down.

As for P5 schools saying screw the NCAA, there won't be a big walkout. How many schools would walk out and who would Alabama play while they wait for other schools to walk out? How long would that take to get enough schools to walkout for a full schedule? Do you think the conference would step in before that happens? While schools are trying to get support of a walkout, the NCAA would come in and try to mitigate the situation with support of the conference.

true

but to me that just says the ncaa has all the schools scared...but for no reason at all. the schools, collectively, are MUCH more powerful than the ncaa.

IF they acted collectively. Let's just say that Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame and USCw walked away from the NCAA (not just in football, but all sports). Who would those schools play except each other? How much money would be lost individually by the school and collectively? How many years would it take to get enough teams together to make it worthwhile (remember, they would no longer have a TV contract and what network is going to pay for games that don't mean anything)? Leaving the NCAA is a big gamble.

that's why i said ALL the p5 schools; not just a few. if only a few did it, then yeah it wouldn't make sense. it would take all of them to do it.

i'm crazy, but i ain't THAT crazy. :ROFLMAO::cool:;)
