🏈 Bama 2022 Schedule

Home and homes with Texas, Florida State, Wisconsin, and West Virginia will replace the annual neutral site games. I hate that the era of playing neutral site games every year is over. We did not play one in 2010, 2011, and 2020. The last one being for obvious reasons. It was certainly fun while it lasted. I guess they felt like it was time for a change.
The inability of Atlanta and Orlando to schedule better opposition than Duke and Louisville soured Saban on them. He probably also understood their dilemma in not being able to schedule better teams than those to get their ass kicked by Bama. Tough way to start the new season.

The annual games began by happenstance in 2013. When GT cancelled the 2013-2014 H/H series it just so happened that the Atlanta Sports Council (of which I was a member of at the time) had a tentative agreement with USC to play in their game in either of those years (their choice) and their preferred opponent was Bama. Therefore Gary Stokan, president of ASC, was in negotiations with Bama for both years after GT cancelled. Of course the agreement with USC ended when Carroll left because Kiffin and Haden wanted no part of Bama. Bama wound up being contracted for both years. Apparently Saban liked the NS games at that point and made them an annual affair.

1000% incorrect. :)

It falls on Learfield. They hold the rights to beverages, sports drinks, and concessions.
I apologize. So none of the "other" potential revenue decreases impact Alabama. If they sell the tickets, and you don't show up, it makes no difference other than crowd noise and image.

I meant more of everything else as far as correct. The concessions were a small part of what I was agreeing to atleast.

Interesting to know they handle 3rd party. Damnit, you can outsource everything, and can make a killing by being that provider.

Licensed vendors—independent and retail—would be one of few.

You're aware they added food delivery recently? Or maybe it's pickup? There's an app.
