🏈 Bad enough that FBS teams schedule FCS opponents, this takes it to another level

They don't have any compliance folks at CSU? I'm not going to be one of the folks getting up in arms over the NCAA and this petty shit. That was established years ago, this is more about FSU playing a depleted FCS team at this point.

I really hate that FBS teams play FCS teams. This takes it to another level, FSU might as well take the game off and start their 4th string team at this point. Pathetic.

Charleston Southern players say 30-plus teammates suspended for FSU game

I feel for the other teammates, but these guys knew the rules. I think these guys knew what they were doing? But, I'm starting to feel like the most of you and we need to start paying these guys.

Charleston So took ND State to start the season, I think. They're not too bad for a FCS team. Now, drop half the scholarship players and they become a really good DIII team.

Charleston Southern is pretty good. Their only losses last year were to Troy, Alabama, and NDSU in the natty. But now? They are probably more akin to a high school team with all these suspensions ..

Football is important. If FBS didn't schedule FCS teams, the FCS teams couldn't exist. It's a big payday to get beat.

I know the players are disappointed, but they can't blame the school for suspending them for one game. They should blame the school for a lack of compliance monitors. It's stupid that they're suspended for getting a pen and notebook. Somebody needs to raise this issue with the NCAA as part of the cost of attendance.

The Pac 12 has stopped playing FCS teams. So has the Big 12 and Big 10. That leaves SEC and ACC as holdouts. I expect this to get legislated out of all power 5 conferences soon enough. Somebody needs to save North Carolina from themselves.

Minor correction, they lost to JSU in the quarterfinals. It was JSU that got their asses handed to them by NDSU in the finals.

The Pac12 still plays FCS teams. Arizona plays Grambling. Colorado plays Idaho State. Arizona State plays Texas-San Antonio. Oregon plays UC Davis.

The Big10 still plays FCS teams. Michigan State plays Furman. Purdue plays Eastern Kentucky. Maryland plays Howard. Illinois plays Murray State.

The Big12 still plays FCS teams. Baylor plays Northwestern State. OK State plays Southeastern Louisiana. Kansas plays Rhode Island.

You're right. Brain cramp. The big 10 and 12 and Pac 12 are playing 9 conference games. The big 10 voted this year to not play FCS schools anymore.
