My father-in-law knew him because Dye was one of his good clients (excavations, pond development, etc.). Bill (big barner himself) always liked Dye but always laughed at any drunk comment I made.

His work on the field shows that Coach Bryant hired him for a good reason. This is a sad day indeed.
