šŸˆ Aubs mad after the L$U game

Any time you score 7 points in your last 30 minutes of a football game, you can’t really blame the refs. Lol. Not to mention the two turnovers which ,along with the barns inability to get LSUs offense off the field on several time consuming drives, led to a 10 minute swing in TOP. OUCH!!

On a related note, here's another penalty that wasn't called--on AU. If you recall, they passed a new rule where linemen can't jump over the offensive line on kicks like this. Yet, 91 isn't called on this play. He's not only jumping over the line, he's damn near horizontal.

Stan White was particularly bad and he came across as especially whiny and petty. I'm not sure it could possibly be more unprofessional than the 2 radio creeps that called the Georgia radio cast of the natty in OT, but it definitely was a bad case of homerism.

Stan White does this often...it's kinda pathetic.

this is what gets me...

being on the radio play-by-play team, he should have at least a little more class than what he does.

yes, he played at auburn
yes he's obviously still a fan
and yes, he sounds like a whiny 8 year old when he doesn't get his way and wants to take his toys and go home and cry to mommy

he needs to suck it up and learn to lose with some class. if he wants to call out the refs, then he needs to man up and do it to their faces and NOT use his status and the radio to complain about it.

i have never once.....NOT EVER....heard Eli complain about the officiating in a game. i'm not saying he hasn't...but i've never heard him do it.

Stan White has been a douche bag since his days in HS. Not really surprised by him AT ALL. Ron Ingram, who was the HS sports authority for the B'ham News back in the day, brought Stan and Parker QB Gary Clayton on to the field before the start of the Dental Clinic Classic at Legion Field. I was playing in the first game and the 3 of us were considered 3 of the better QBs in the metro area and state at the time. Gary was a cool customer and we hit it off quick. Stan was a DICK from the word go!!! Some things never change I guess!!

Whining is a tradition at the cow college and it didn't start with Stan. Gusty Yearout (former player at the barn) and his partner Gary Sanders were world Champions at whining back in the 70's.

Sunday Coach Jordan Auburn Review

Carl Stephens...Coach, another tuff loss for the Tigers yesterday and many close calls that didn't go our way.

Coach Jordan...You're so right Carl

seems like only yesterday...but their tradition continues just like throwing toilet paper in a tree

I hate the AU radio guys, constant whiners. You never hear whining from Eli and you never heard it from Fyffe, when he was still around for AU. I cannot stand to listen to their broadcast anymore. I used to listen to Fyffe, when I was on the way back from or to a Bama game.

So many misssd PI calls in the first half that would have gone against the barn. I was astounded. Then I didn’t get to see the end. So fitting LOL.

Barn choked in 2nd half and was Beaten by a more physically fit team ImO.

A friend of mine who watched the game says the refs missed three targeting calls v. the barn in the first half.
I watched it pretty closely and I didn't see what I'd have thrown a flag for on three calls...one, maybe.

Here's what's so ironic about that. Let's assume there are three flags that should have been thrown and all the while we're hearing the Auburn crew say "let 'em play." Doesn't click, right?

You remember the 3-2 game against State? This game Saturday was uglier than that one--just bad football all around--unless you prefer sloppy, undisciplined football.

I expressed a thought here last week that mentioned feeling the overreactions would be as bad this week as week one based on what I was hearing pre-game. And here we are.

@jdpas29 I didn't see what I thought was a physical advantage in fitness--at least no more so than what we see out of Auburn. I did see what I consider to be another "Gus derp." It's bad when you've got a narrative running among fans and the media that almost quote each other; his offense works when it's based on power running with a pass threat. Yet, he continues to go ass-backwards half of the time.

That's how I felt about it. It was just bad and Stidham was atrocious. Mind you, Barrett Jones rated Stidham as the top QB in the SEC last week....

It was literally like two fans they grabbed off the street and told them to go call a game. Pretty sad.
