Well this morning on 92.9 The Game NBA announcer and host Rick Kamla is making fun of AJ for crying. Says Tide fans should be embarrassed that he cried after winning. Said UGA is gonna make him cry even more.

They teed up the question about how do UGA fans feel now about there chances of beating Bama in the SECCG. Of course you got the barkies going crazy.

God, I hate living in Atlanta. No scratch that I hate living in Georgia.

Lived here since '97 and the best way to suffer these fools is not to listen to local sports radio. Name your host whether it be Perry Laurintino, Steak Shapiro, John Kincaid, etc. etc. All of them rail against Alabama when given the opportunity.

That's the bad thing. I lived here from 1980 to 1991, then since 1999 the second time. At least when I was a kid living here I didn't catch the sports talk crap.

i lived in ATL for 6 years. by far one of the most delusional fan bases in the country. consistently overrated. consistently underacheiving. good players. poor to average coaching.

Aaron Murray will need a Mettenberger/Garcia type game... and btw.. they just lost one of their receivers for the year right?

Gurley is a great running back, but the line that is blocking for him is subpar. i don't see him being terribly effective because of that. they'll need some miraculous stuff on offense and the best defensive performance of the year to keep it a game with Alabama.

Back a couple of years ago, we were playing the dawgs. I took my family to a car show right before the game (my kids were like 2, 4, and 5) and we were wearing our tide gear. We had all sorts of Ga fools yelling at us, telling us how badly we were going to get beat that night.

Let's just say that night was the "Black Out" game. Never felt better!

Living in ATL since 96, took a year in '09 working back in Bama on an assignment without moving back, and over the last two years I get to the lake in Bama most weekends and vacations. My favorite view of Atlanta is in my rear view mirror, and I'm counting the days to spend more days in Bama.

Many, many uga fans are hilariously misguided, uninformed and devoid of reason. There are few things better than watching their typical fade, accompanied by the eruption of competing "Fire Richt" and "He's a Good Man" factions.

I think most of the 92.9 guys are haters. Driving home at 0400 from the airport after flying the team I was listening to anything to keep me awake. One of the guys openly stated he thinks Alabama fans are arrogant and has no love for the Tide. The other guy basically said we wouldn't hear any Alabama love from him either. That was it for me. Won't be listening to them any more.

I will say Nick Cellini totally took up for us Monday a.m. on 790. Other guy was talking about how "beatable" Alabama now is, how non-NFL we are, etc... and Nick reminded him about LSU's streak at home, at night, yadda yadda. I was impressed with him. Many times he actually seems to like Alabama.

The Georgia fans I know are the most delusional fans ever. They are always one year away from winning a NC and to hear them talk, Bama won't have a chance in the SEC CG.

Btw just to deal with that Atlanta b.s, just tell them how Atlanta was dubbed the worst sports city in America...That'll digress the subject..... Or just mention the Blackout and the 35-7 beat down that South Carolina gave them, and go into detail on how South Carolina is more deserving of being in the SECCG than them... Oh that will sting, stir up the pot :biggrin_blue:
