🏈 Athlon Top 25

If UGA signs Greyson Lambert, then their QB situation has to be questioned to the point that their inclusion in the Top 10 and whether or not they are a CFP contender has to be questioned also.

The absence of MO continues to get more mind boggling. They are second in the SEC with 97 Career OL Starts Returning. Last night I ran across a blog ranking the 15 Easiest Schedules in 2015. Look who is #13! How the hell can they not be ranked in the Top 25?

13. Missouri

Yes, the SEC is powerful, but the Tigers still find their way on our list. Repeating as SEC East champions and winning 11 games isn’t a stretch with the way their schedule sets up. Of course, if they do that, they still have to face the SEC West winner in the SEC title game, no easy task.

Sept. 5 – Southeast Missouri
Sept. 12 – @arkansas State
Sept. 19 – Connecticut
Sept. 26 – @Kentucky
Oct. 3 – South Carolina
Oct. 10 – Florida
Oct. 17 – @Georgia
Oct. 24 – @Vanderbilt
Nov. 5 – Mississippi State
Nov. 14 – BYU (neutral)
Nov. 21 – Tennessee
Nov. 28 – @arkansas

Talk about easing your way into things. The first month of the season could set the Tigers up to be 4-0, provided they can win in Lexington. South Carolina and Florida aren’t pushovers, but the Tigers get them at home. Even the toughest non-conference opponent, BYU, is played at a neutral site in Missouri. If you’re going to go on the road in the SEC, you hope one of those trips is to Vanderbilt.
