Redshirt-Junior Offensive Lineman Dallas Warmack is transferring to Oregon. The news first reported by Al.com’s Matt Zentiz comes following Alabama’s 2018 Spring Football Game which was held on April 21.

The 6-foot-2, 308-pound Atlanta, Georgia native did not see action during the 2017 season but did earn time as a sophomore in 2016 playing in nine games. Warmack’s brother Chance was a first-round draft pick playing at Alabama and was selected 10th in 2013 by the Tennessee Titans.

Heading into this season, Warmack was slated as the third team left guard behind Lester Cotton and Deionte Brown. In heading to Oregon, Warmack will be a graduate transfer.

Unlike some low rent garbage on this site I wish him the best. He stuck it out like a man, got his education, won a couple Championships, provided depth and now he wants to move on to where he can get some potential playing time. I definitely respect that, and the fact his family stuck with the Tide for their further education and college football days.

Cristabol of all head coaches would know this guy and his potential. May have been in on his recruiting. The OL depth right now resembles the running back depth and Dallas would understand better than most that the chance to get on the field and play some football is diminishing rapidly.

Seems like a great fit though if they're going to continue to play fast. At his size with some versatility he could be a nice fit for their OL. Plus Cristobal has a great idea of what he's getting

There is literally not one person in this thread that wished ill of him, cupcake.

Agree with most. Its a tough world at Bama.
Better be prepared for it if u sign.
Its like the nfl where ... if u take a day off ...
The new guy coming in may take ur spot...
Good luck to him. Oregon is one beautiful place. Spent a little time at OSU. Equally beautiful

Another benefit to committing to Saban. Everyone won't/can't be a 3-and-done. There's a number of kids who will come in, work their butts off, get an education, earn a degree and still face a lot of competition to get playing time. Well, follow the process and if it doesn't work out here, there will be opportunities elsewhere. Dallas leaves with a degree and two years of eligibility.

Good luck Dallas.

But you are low rent garbage for making a snide remark about him going elsewhere. I don't see you arguing that, so you must already know. Face it dude, you're a loser that once again has something negative to say about a guy that does not warrant one ounce of negativity. Him and his brother are class acts, to bad we can't say the same for you.

Enjoy riding the bench over there, too.

Seriously?

Yep.

Why do you think he will ride the pine at Oregon?

Never saw anything out of him at Bama. Every time I saw him in action I was unimpressed. I wasn't trying to crap on the guy, I just personally dont think he will start there or play much there, either. Never when a guy transfers from here, is it because he was this incredible talent that was being held down. Usually they end up sitting on the bench just like they were here. Hope they guy does very well for himself.

Hey look, the guy that has me blocked and somehow never sees my posts yet constantly is quoting me and making bitch made remarks about what I say...

It makes me low rent garbage for saying the dude is going to be riding the bench there, too? Seriously? Pretty ironic with some of the piece of shit things you've said but whatever, buddy. Whats really funny is you paint as this person that never says anything but negative comments, yet who is the one that is CONSTANTLY whining, throwing insults and just being a little bitch to me constantly? Instead of lying and pretending that you have me on ignore, either freaking do it or just admit that you wouldn't know what to do if you couldn't whine about one of my posts.

Fair enough. I thought he played pretty well on A Day, most of that second line did. Lesser comp, of course. I just ultimately think we had such a ridiculously talented haul at OL since he committed that he was just out athleted. At Oregon there will be lesser talent for sure... And would like to think he did his research and has an inside track with Mario taking over. We shall see
