Unlike some low rent garbage on this site I wish him the best. He stuck it out like a man, got his education, won a couple Championships, provided depth and now he wants to move on to where he can get some potential playing time. I definitely respect that, and the fact his family stuck with the Tide for their further education and college football days.

Why do you think he will ride the pine at Oregon?

Never saw anything out of him at Bama. Every time I saw him in action I was unimpressed. I wasn't trying to crap on the guy, I just personally dont think he will start there or play much there, either. Never when a guy transfers from here, is it because he was this incredible talent that was being held down. Usually they end up sitting on the bench just like they were here. Hope they guy does very well for himself.

Fair enough. I thought he played pretty well on A Day, most of that second line did. Lesser comp, of course. I just ultimately think we had such a ridiculously talented haul at OL since he committed that he was just out athleted. At Oregon there will be lesser talent for sure... And would like to think he did his research and has an inside track with Mario taking over. We shall see

His time in real games was just really underwhelming to me. Like I said, maybe he will end up proving me wrong and killing it in Oregon. And again I wasn't trying to shit on him, it's not like I tweeted at the guy and told him to have fun on the bench in Oregon or something lol Wish him well.

Well he couldn't have underwhelmed too much this season in real games.... Cause he didn't appear in any! lol

But I guess that is underwhelming in itself. I'll stand by my opinon that our backups are better than Oregon starters and Cristobal knows his OL's... If he rides the pine I'll like one of your posts or something. :rolf:

No but he played in nine games the year before and seven the year before.

I hope him much success. There have been others that have transferred and made a success of it (Kamara) and now in the NFL. He is making a business decision and trying to capture his dreams. I hope it works out and he looks Back on his time at Bama with happiness and continues to support Bama in whatever he does. They cant take your rings away from you young man. RTR

A guy the staff was after, Sewall, is anticipated to create himself a space on the Oregon offensive line as a true frosh. It's not as if they have holes to fill. He's just that good. We've seen it here with other guys. Now, Warmack is thinking about the G position and it'll take some shake-up (like a G moving to T) for him to get that starting spot...and now it's Sewall vs Warmack for the G position.

Tough climb.
