🏈 Army/Navy and other Saturday games thread

How can you not enjoy the Army/Navy game? Just watch the little things....you will never see a personal foul, cheap shot, trash talking or showboating during this game. These guys help up the opposing players after a tackle, during post game interviews, they speak flawless English (sorry, that is a pet peeve for me). The emotions of this game carry through the television to the home audience regardless of any affiliation you have or do not have with the military. Such a great game!

One more thing is that each team go and sing the other school song, first the losing team,then the winning team.

Noticed that Vern talked about potential irony of him being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens. Gary either didn't get the reference or didn't care...

Verne, although near senility, still has some good one liners on occasion. Gary is just a dolt.

Army put up a fight but mistakes killed them.

Good game. Get 'em next year.

As an Army vet I was starting to believe this was the year to end the streak. That play call on 2nd down with over 2 minutes left and a TO in your pocket (screen/WR pass), not to mention they were driving, was one of the dumbest calls I've ever seen. Turnovers put them in a hole but that call drove the stake through.
