Am I the only nut that thinks Florida is going to have their hands full with Arkansas. If this was a home game for Arkansas...I would buy into it even more. Im not saying that that the upset is a definite by any means...but I feel it will be a closer game than what some think...and maybe..just maybe if Mallett can put together a few drives...catch a few breaks..and keep it close, they can make it interesting.

Florida should have thier hands full with them about as much as we did. Auburn, Georgia, Texas A&M, none of those teams have any defense - I think Tennessee proved that against Georgia. Arkansas has a great offense and a so-so defense, but that offense gets shut down by a great defense like we and Florida have.

IMO, the Razorbacks are the only team that have even half a chance of putting any decent numbers up against UF. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to be enough.
Arkansas just doesn't emphasize S&C the way we and UF do, and as a result they wear down fairly quickly after halftime. UF should then be able to treat them like any other second-tier team. UF49 AR 20
The rest of UF's schedule (MSU, UGA, Vandy, USCe, FIU, FSU) is pretty weak, and the Gators should be able to have their way with them.
As long as we take care of business the rest of the season, we'll meet them in Atlanta again this December.

If Florida plays like they did on saturday, Arkansas can beat them by 10 points. Arkansas's offense is light years ahead of LSU in running and passing, and their defense is not any worse than LSU's. Arkansas doesn't have the depth and strength of the LSU D, but they are fast on the line which matches up well against the fla run game.

if florida comes out flat, they could lose this game.

i think on an average day however, this game is a scorefest with florida winning 34-24

I was thinking the same thing. I just wonder if this game could be a replica to last year's Ole Piss Trip to the swamp. As far as LSU's defense, they haven't impressed me all year, which is why I wasn't empressed with Florida's offense against them. If the hogs D is just a fraction better than lsu's, then they will beat the Gators, but only if Mallett can survive in the pocket. That will be the key. And yall might disagree with me but, if Tenn had a QB worth a turd, Florida would already be a one loss team.

UF will win this game, I am just interested to see how many points Arkansas can put on that UF defense. We have a great defense, but there is a reason they have the #1 ranked defense and it has something to do with the fact that they have only given up two touchdowns this season.

Could it be they haven't played offenses as talented as Bama has so far?

I personally hope Arkansas puts up 500 yards and 40+ points on Florida, regardless if they win or not. Realistically, I think Arkansas will put up much better numbers against Florida than they did us, but I don't see them really competing that much in the game.

I expect Arky to hang in there at first and then FL should take over and win comfortably. However, Petrino (while being a jerk) is one of the best at exposing a defensive weakness. FL has better players but they are smallish and rely on their speed. If Arky can control the ball (run it straight at FL) and keep the Gators O off the field they can make it interesting early.

BTW if LSU comes out in power sets and forces the ball down FL's throat they might've won the game. One of LSU's problems is their OC (the vastly overrated Gary Crowton) refuses to let them be the power running team they are personnel wise.

I don't know guys...I'm thinking Ark wins this game. Seriously. IF Arkansas finds a hole and gets a few quick scores...force Florida into a game of catch up...It could happen. Florida just aint the same team this year.

I'd like to see Arkansas win, it helps the Gamecocks duly. If we lose as well, it keeps us in the SEC East Race. If we win this weekend (not expecting more than hoping) It puts us in control of our destiny in the East.

Anyways, go Arkansas!
