I don't have a problem with blowing out these teams. It has allowed me to teach the game to my 11 yr old son and answer my wifes' questions without getting pissed off because she doesn't understand. I became a BAMA fan when BAMA played Penn State for the NC. That is the first game I can remember. I have seen NCs with Coach Bryant at the helm, seen the Perkins era, been a part of the Curry experiment, revisited NC with Coach Stallings, had the nightmares of DuBose, Franchione, Price and Shula keep me up at night. I know that these times won't last forever, so I'm dang sure gonna enjoy them!!
As for players getting bored. It is SO hard to get up for each and every game. Emotion only lasts so long anyways. We've talked about this before. Young men have so many things going on in their minds that it is impossible to know what they are thinking.
