The subject of referees and poor calls has been popular lately..pro ball mostly, but some college. I personally dont know how difficult it is to do this b/c ive never done it, but it must be difficult at times. I have a tough time in some cases seeing the violations in slow-motion...much less at game speed all the while trying not to get run over by a player or hit by the ball...I know they make mistakes and its easy to armchair QB but I respect what they do. It has got to be a pain in the A## sometimes for them. Ive always wondered how much $$$ they make in college...

the_rolltide, one of our staff members, does in S Cali. We were talking about this the other day...
To say the least, one could ref in the NCAA ranks and make a comfortable living at it...as soon as the sun rises "in his world" I'm sure he can provide more accurate numbers.

We've got a character that hangs around called Referee. I'm not sure if he really does referee, but it's always seemed like he does. He's a dolphins fan that came over when Coach Saban was hired...

I know The_rolltide is a ref at the high school level here in L.A you should ask for his imput on the matter.
