🏈 Anyone gonna comment on Foster and him kicking it into the endzone :)

I like it. Wish he had been doing it all along. I thought everyone on here was saying he was supposed to kick it to the one or something. Maybe Cade's in trouble for kicking it deep now.

I like it though.

I was really happy to see that. The one that actually got returned was stuffed at like the 12.

Um, no.

Caught at the five, returned to the 27.

HOWEVER,
there was this little thing that happened along the way...fumble, which Cade happened to recover. So, on the one he didn't get a touchback on, he gets a pass today.

I'll comment on it and say that he actually looks comfortable now. Go back and see how he kicked in HS. He has always had the leg to do it but honestly it appeared to me that he was trying to be to mechanical at Alabama. While I'm sure there was good reason for it (accuracy) I think it messed with his distance. He looks totally different on kickoffs this year. He looks natural approaching the ball instead of the "prancing" that he did in the past. Its almost like someone finally just approached him and said "just kick the ball like you know how".

It all goes back to the coaching/consulting guys who came in at the end of last season. They worked with both kickers quite a bit.

A lot of it is corrected mechanics though. You don't see the hook on his FG attempts you saw last year.

Terry, I fixed your comment. Mechanics is the key. Jseakin, it does look as if someone just went up to him and said "kick the damn ball like you know how!" I'm proud of him and I applaud CNS for running him out there against Michigan and Arky for those long FG attempts. It gives Cade that boost of confidence that he seemed to lack last season even when Coach ran him out there.
