🏈 Anyone been harassed yet? Lol

I've heard more nonsense from Alabama fans. We gave up 300 yards rushing, we got beat. Why can't we just admit that Auburn beat us at OUR game, and earned the victory?

Is being 11-1 and ranked #4 not good enough anymore?

They are giddy, and rightfully so. Whether we are better than them, does not matter. They were better than us for 60 minutes on Saturday. Be it divine intervention, a deal with the devil, or whatever, congratulations to them. The beat us, and they should play for all the marbles. We will see how it all shakes out. Try to remember what these kids did for the University of Alabama and us as fans over the last 4 or 5 years. It's been one helluva run. God Bless those kids and our coaches. They made our weekends fun again and the memories are second to none. Roll Tide

A little, mostly a big smile from the Auburn grad that sits next to me in the office.

Also, can you explain to me how Auburn grads/fans say Alabama grads/fans are inbred and date our cousins? We are all from the same state. Im pretty sure Auburn is more rural than Tuscaloosa. Ive never understood those comments with both schools being in the same state. Both have our fair share of hillbilly redneck fans.

I was told this morning to set back my clock 1 second for daylight Saban Time.

That's actually a good one.

I teach 8th graders, which means half our teachers are on that level...Probably me too...I have heard all kinds of crap today. One of my better students drew some large picture and taped it to my door. I didn't know whom it was from; I didn't care. I just took one glance at it, walked up to it, ripped it down, and balled it up for the garbage. She was a tad hurt by that and retrieved it. Oh well... :)

I saw a bunch of signs in the Game Day crowd that were like, "If you have teeth, you didn't go to UA" or "The University of Alabama: Where your mom is also your sister". Speaking as someone from Yankeeland, Auburn is considered a lot more "redneck-y" than Alabama.

And there are hillbilly rednecks everywhere. Most of my family in South Jersey are honest to god, toothless hicks. In fact, the part of New Jersey they live in (pretty much the entire lower half of the state) is mostly farms, woods, swamps, beaches, and plains, and it is jokingly referred to as 'Basically Alabama'. Probably should be 'Basically Auburn'.

Honestly, if the only enjoyment they get out of a victory is the misery of another. Then their team is obviously not doing well enough for them to care...Auburn's just so used to the mentality of being on the bottom they don't know how to act when they finally make it to the top.

Most fans don't have composure or poise when sitting on top, just know it'll only last for as long as they work for it. I know our boys will bust ass to get back there and I don't know of many if any place that will work harder than ours.

No, but not any Barners up here. Most of my friends are either Michigan or Michigan state fans and they all know how I love Bama and would never go out of the way to hurt my feelings and vice versa.

I had one barner say that this was the beginning of another "6 in a row". I just had to laugh and remind them that Shula was fired long ago!

Remind them that in the Iron Bowl, we have the winning record in the all time series (42-35-1), the longest win streak (9; 1973-1981), and the biggest win (55-0; 1948). Oh, and 15 national championships. Just in case he forgot :icon_thumright:
