📽 /🎵 Anybody watched any good new shows or series lately?

If you like or can stomach competition tv shows: check out the devils plan. It’s a Korean show. The difference is that there is some truly intelligent people playing this game. It’s a little tough to watch right out of the gate, but it gets more and more interesting as you see the intelligence coming out in several of the players.

I watched the newest series Marshall's Sunday night after church and it is a pretty good show. I am also trying to get into a new series on CBS called CIA.
I saw the preview to that on Paramount+. I couldn't shake knowing the faces but couldn't place either for a day or two. Both characters are from Chicago Med, a show I haven't watched but a time or two.

Closing credits to S2, E9 of The Pitt. The guitar riff sent me looking for the track...if you can separate the lyrics from the music you'll enjoy this one.

I never paid it much attention, but after seeing a YouTube short that's apparently from the series, and after a little bit of research, I'm about to start the series Lioness. I know I'm 3 years late to this one, but I honestly had no Idea it was produced by Taylor Sheridan. And I've liked everything I've seen by him, so far; although I still haven't started Marshals, yet, either.

Lioness is very good!!!

I've been watching reruns of Tour of Duty and The Unit.. I Wish they had never cut those shows short and had a lot more reruns.. can't figure out why those shows failed for the life of me..

Oh! This is easy. Tour of Duty was canceled because of the show itself. It was good in the beginning but ended up chasing ratings and following story lines from other series like China Beach. It turned into a soap opera.

The CBS show Seal Team took the same path as The Unit. In the latter, as soon as the focus fell on the wives (in this one, specifically the affair with one of the team members and the commander.) The CBS show focused on the SEAL team took the same downward path.

(Coincidentally, the SEAL Team spinoff, Fire Country, did the same thing except it started with the soap opera themes early on: it's Days of our Lives surrounded by burning forest areas.)

BTW, you want to see a change in someone? Look at Scott Foley in The Unit and compare him to what he looks like on Will Trent today. Ozempic or meth with a good dentist. He doesn't look like the same guy physically.

This wasn't too bad. 7/10.

In some thread, somewhere here, I mentioned watching Hijack when S1 premiered. S2 is out. I watched S1 again over the weekend...it's worth it; hope S2 is as well.
I'll put it this way. If there is a season three, I'll watch it after the entire thing is released. It's not one you look for the next episode but one you get back to every day or two.
