Any Unusual High School Team Nicknames In The Southeast?

Here in Ohio where I have lived for the past 21 years, several teams have very unusual names as a mascot. You have the South Webster Jeeps (from the cartoon character Popeye) and the Philo Electrics.

In nearby W.V. there is a town called Poca. The nickname of the team...Dots!

Please list any unusual nicknames in the southeast or where you live for high school teams.

If the Dunbar Poets can be on the list, how about the Sidney Lanier Poets (Montgomery).

I was born in Cairo. Various uncles and my maternal grandfather used to grow and process sugar cane to syrup. Rodenberry is still there, mainly making pickles.

Sidney Lanier in Montgomery are the Poets and Laurel Hill School in Florida are the Hobos. There is also the Highland Home School Flying Squadron.

I don't know the name of the school or town where it is but my mother told me their mascot was the...Midgets.

Patriot 81, I have been by Laurel Hill High School before and yes, they are the Hobos. LOL
