Sure is quiet around here. I would think someone would have an idea by now. I don't know the exact time Alabama received the letter, but you know there are many people that know by now. Just makes me wonder.

Being reported by several individuals with insider type knowledge on BOL. I have no reason to doubt them.

One of the sickest feelings I've ever felt was the day our penalties came out the last time, and while the BAMA beat writers and various site reporters were in the PC, Roy Toy had already posted the sanctions on Gridscape. They'd been up for a while before BAMA fans even found out what the penalties were. Amazing.

Of course, ol Roy had nothing to do with that the BAMA/Means scandal. He was just a good Samaritan passing along info was all. :bsflag:

Pretty much. It was just a guess remember. I didn't say I had inside information or that my secret source informed me. I simply said what I think might happen. I do have some friends associated with the baseball program and they are worried that both squads get hit (baeball and women's softball). That is all. I didn't know I needed to bring documented evidence when stating something speculative. Won't happen again.

Simple question. That's all. I just wanted to know how you came up with those teams.

The teams involved in this, that I know of so far, are the track and cross country teams, one member of the women's soccer team and I want to say some volleyball players but I'm not sure if I recall that correctly.

Those teams are the ones involved in the 2007 situation.

Now, how many were involved with the things discovered back in '05-'06 is hard to say. But, I don't see those "extras" as being an Athletic Department worry...that was all on the bookstore and professors and therein the reason UA said it was an institutional situation and not an athletic one.
