Being that Payne is likely jumping to the NFL, he would fill a major need on defense and provide quality depth. Something we have been short on as of late due to NFL attrition.

That would be news to me. He's not camped, visited, and I'm pretty damn sure he hasn't even received an invitation to come to campus much less an offer.

In this class they've got four that will be on the line, and another three who have the frame to move to the line as an end.
