🏈 Another observation from last night

No spin move from Eddie Lacy or did I miss it? His toe or ankle must be hurting. Also noticed after that fumble he didn't start in the 3rd quarter

Eddy looked out of sorts to me. a step slow and not quite as shifty as usual. hope it gets better.

Yeah, if I had to guess I would say he's still battling that ankle sprain. Hope he gets better. Glad the others stepped it up too!

Coach Saban said in his post game presser that the plan was for Eddie to get a limited amount of touches due to injury .

Yeah Saban said the gameplan was to limit his carries but that first carry on the first scoring drive looked like the Lacy we know, and he had like 9 yards. 2nd carry he got the first down but got up limping and after that he just didnt seem right.

Yeah, they buckled him under pretty badly one of the early tackles. We watched it on the big screen right after it happened. It was clean, but has a nasty little pile.
