Hello everyone! I like others was at Clay's when he wanted to expand & include NFL, NHL and NBA etc, CC & Rollpride broke off to keep it mainly "Bama" so I followed them.... for years....& good things sometimes end.
Looking for something similiar. TerryP made some great story posts there with the type insight that's my style.

Oh nice. If you don't mind me asking, what's your son's name. I graduated in 04, but my cousin's son just graduated there this year.

It kills me to see some of my alma mater's players going to our rivals though! Haha. When I was in school I tried my best to get Jason Allen to reconsider going to Tennessee, though I didn't really know him all that well.

We will probably kick an outside of Alabama type forum up again come football season. It's been our practice to combine things over the summer and then separate them again when the "real season" starts.

But, as to those other sports? About the only time we discuss them here is when it's something worthwhile. Heck, my only thought on the NBA right now? Are those Clark Kent glasses now the new black? It's about as funny as rainbow suspenders were in the early 80's in Mork and Mindy's heyday.

Welcome obie! Good to see ya again!

My sisters step son is J. Triplett. He played basketball as well.

I'm another new guy to this site Been hanging around since Clay's old site. I really have missed the daily reads that I used to enjoy on the old CC site but I'm looking foreward to moving on amd enjoying this site as well. I've been on board here for 2 or 3 days now and I'm still learning how to get around the site.

If you look up at the top of the forum from the index page you'll see the Alabama news section. I mention that because that's the one that needs work. It's been a year since I've updated it, and I need to do so to keep the latest news available, available. Consider this a reason, or excuse, but I've been hesitant to do so because of all the upheaval around the media organizations over the last few months. I don't know who is going, or who is staying. And, a lot of the feeds (RSS) have changed as of late.

The twitter hub is a jewel. It's step number two. I'm planning on tweaking that as soon as I get the news feeds up to date. That said, you won't find many articles that aren't linked there...if you are looking for reading material.

It's the point of getting to it. And, I've been a little lax.

Any other question, just post them. Once you get used to this...you'd be surprised how easy it is to get around.

related to any Triplett's outta Mississippi - I served in the Navy with a Derrick Triplett - can't recall what part of Mississippi he's from - he's probably about 40 now.
Her husband has mentioned family in tennessee but not Mississippi Although it's possible. He (Jai) is about 40 and was National Guard...and
unfortunately au fan:c001:

Obie you going to get you brother Over70 over here too?
I sure thought he'd be here by now. He is a great writer, poster with awsome insight to things. It's almost like he had lunch with Coach Bryant a couple of times a year...LOL. I believe he loved the old site so much that it's hard to turn a page. I've considered "coaxing" him a little but haven't yet. He is the main poster within the google-group. TerryP was "messaging" with him. That's were Terry extended an inviting link to rolltidebama. I don't know of a former member that wouldn't like to sit down and have a glass of tea and talk Bama football with Over70
