In his presser Saban said the Smith is day to day with a sprained knee, questionable saturday

-Earl alexander will be in a boot for a few days with a sprained ankle that has been reoccuring

I would rather both guys play, but if they have to sit out, I know Coach Saban would make a decision as if we were playing Georgia and not do things as to think we automatically got this game.

Tulane is well-coached, so we can't take them lightly.

What's encouraging is that from all of the player interviews I heard, we have several guys that are showing great leadership skills to keep things into perspective and not get too high after this win and not too low for the next game.

Coach Saban will do a great job this week keeping them grounded and focused on dominating Tulane. If anyone knows the consequences of assuming wins, it's Coach Saban.

Let's Calm the Green Wave with our own Crimson Tide!!!!

Every game matters, but we have great depth on the O-Line and at WR. So it wouldn't hurt to make them rest even if they're ready to go.

I still say to let them play at least the first quarter, if they are healthy enough.

The OL needs that chemistry to remain intact.

I know this is not last year, but that hurt them when they had to reshuffle things.

I am confident in Mike sliding over to LT and Ross coming in at the LG, but I just want Dre to start it off if he can!!!

I will say this though, if Dre is not at least 90%, he needs to rest!!! We could use EA's physical size, but we have enough depth at that position for him to get healthy.

It is a long season, so we need to stay as healthy as possible.

I see what you mean about the chemistry of the O-line... i think that if they let them rest for the Tulane game, they should be back to at least 90% by then and that will give them the opportunity to keep the chemistry going on the O-line...
