šŸˆ An Ohio lawmaker wants to impose a $10 million fine on Fox or the Big Ten for every time Ohio State has to play at noon

Lawmakers. The stupi shit they come up with
Perspective. The last year JP (and the three Dave's) stopped broadcasting SEC football games was the first year of Bama's run. ('08.) No one really like the noon game; the three made it bearable. Even still, that noon kick carried a "stigma" like being related to ESPNU on a Saturday night in prime time.

Foxsports made the noon game "a thing."

9 am on west coast. Morning game. Coffee n egg biscuits while watching their "prime time " game.

But. Yep. Got the slot for themselves i guess on games of national interest

Imagine, living in a state so great that the most important thing a lawmaker has to consider is what time a football game come on TV.
Now, imagine that state is Ohio.
Not that Ohio has one of the worst economies of any state in The Union. ( Maybe the senator is going to use all the revenue from his "Sue Fox Bill" to help alleviate this issue.)
Not that several cities in Ohio have the highest reports of opioid overdose deaths.
Not that the worst chemical spill resulting from a train wreck since Youngstown Florida, happened in East Palestine Ohio.
Not the poverty of the Appalachian area of Ohio.
No. What time a football team, named after a nut, plays on TV.
Let's take a major network to court and sue for $10 mil (per game).
Damn...just...damn.
