IMDb gets away with calling the Mormon's / Latter Day Saints a cult. I'm a little surprised.

If I would have seen it before we entered the "Taylor" era I'd have called it a really good mini-series. It was a pretty good watch for the weekend. The plot hits closely to 1883 which takes away part of its appeal to me. The "Mormon Mafia" sets it apart.

(Tempted to watch 1923 again now that S2 is a few days away.)
