🏈 🏈 Spring camp, 2022: A-day Saturday at 2 CT

redshirt freshman Keanu Koht will hall be held out of workouts due to undisclosed injuries.
I think this may be something to watch, as in portal watch. It's news that just makes me think about his future. I don't know what the injury is and I hope it's one that won't take him away from S&C: he needs to bulk up. There's depth at the position and Woods impresses.

I am with you on Kolt to the portal. Sounds like he and Nick agree to skip spring to avoid injury and then log into his new portal account. I don't believe he will be the only player to move on but the others are going to give it one more big try before they do.

Is the big tackle from Vandy actually going thru spring drills? That would be a mistake or could be a mistake.

I don't know what his injury is. If he's out for spring it's significant and that's what led me to start looking at the depth chart. He needed to get bigger/stronger as it was and this kind of thing can be an set back. We'll see.

Think about this though: a lot of depth on the outside. Dallas is going to be there two more years. I've mention they think Jihad Campbell can play all four positions so we have to throw him into the mix. If Koht had the weight Jeremiah Alexander carries we wouldn't be here: grown man. Robinson intrigues me. He saw a decent amount of work on special teams in six or seven games last season. I mentioned Woods earlier and last but not least there's Chris Braswell.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama football returned to the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields Monday, after taking nine days off for spring break. The Crimson Tide worked on the outdoor fields for two hours in spider pads.

It marked the second of 14 spring practices for the Tide, which leads up to the annual A-Day Game. The scrimmage, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. CT at Bryant Denny-Stadium, is open to the public and will be streamed live on SEC Network Plus.

I guess Agiye Hall enjoys trolling Bama fans.

Let me point out few things.

TD alabama tend to report on EVERYTHING.... If Hall tweets that he's in love... TD will report that. He's trolling fans because he knows folks will talk about him here and SECRant and etc. He loves stuff like that. Mack Wilson 2.0

Don't disagree with you at all. My only issue, concern, whine... is what @JoseyWalesTheOutlaw said. His Twitter game is better than his actual game.

Back in the middle of February he tweeted "I hate Agiye" and I saw a lot of fans freaking out thinking it was about Alabama, football, or something akin. He was referencing a song: nothing more.

"you'll miss me." Who the hell knows who he's talking to here? I'm not going to assume it's about Bama, football, or something related to both. Maybe he just discovered Grimes: she's off the wall.

On what may be a related note the guys who I'm told to have 'turned heads' this spring at receiver? Hall's not mentioned.

<...thinking about wide receivers...>

Aaron Anderson is fast. We knew this. (Oh how I wish he had Jameson's height.) JW ran a little over a 10.5 100m dash when he was Aaron's age. (BTW, that's Leary's speed in the same event and he's caught people's attention so far as well.) Aaron's broke the 11 second mark a few times in his high school track competitions. He's not quite as fast (10.7 guy) but he's going to be fun in the slot. Will Anderson return kicks this fall?

Leary. Another slot guy. That's a deep position.

I'm still thinking they need to pick up another wide receiver from the portal. Where's the height? If they're going to be without Hall in the fall, Bama needs Brooks or Holden at their best.

Across the board, does Alabama have better height at corner than they do at receiver?

I have felt Holden has casually gotten better over his years on campus. His size is terrific. I have wanted him to bust out so bad. Is he just not jumping off the page or is he just run of the mill? I have always questioned why he hasn't broken through the depth chart.

And yes, cornerback towers our receivers at the moment, ha ha. 6'1, 6'2, and 6'3 with McKinstry, Ricks, and Jackson. Pretty crazy. I don't see a lot of quarterbacks going over the top of these guys or hitting windows between them and Battle/Wright/Branch/Moore.
