🏈 GAME THREAD 🏈 NCAA / SEC Games of the Week: Labor Day Night~ Ole Miss vs Louisville

Did not see the first half of the UGA/Clemson game but have been watching the 2nd half. Seems to me like UGA is much better than Clemson although the score is still only 7-0. This game might get a little ugly unless Clemson finds some magic.

Does anyone in the ACC? Know how to block and tackle?

I still think Rattled is the most overrated college football player this season. Looks like the whole Clemson OL is going to be the most overrated college group. 71 just whiffed on that third down play. That's one of many misses. Clemson's OL is playing like the Mean Machine did when they were pissed at Adam Sandler.

Both defenses have controlled the game but Clemson's QB and OL just seems overwhelmed
UGA is starting to find some plays with the last long drive. Starting to wear down Clemson. The Clemson offense does not appear to have any answers. Hard to play well as a QB when the OL does not play well. I guess you could give some of that credit to UGA defense.

Teams I wish we would have played today other than Miami. Oklahoma, Georgia, Clemson…hell, just about everybody, I did not see a single team that could tote our jock strap today..may change in the future, but there are a lot of teams that really suck. Clemson proving it ain’t a reload type team.

UGA and Clemson decided by a Pick 6 is fitting. I can't tell shite about either team from this game. Gotta decide if their Ds are freaking awesome, their Os suck, both suck for both, or both are awesome for both. Honestly, I think both Defenses are serviceable and both Offenses are offensive.

That's pretty much how I saw it. UGA's defense is really, really good though. Clemson's was stingy, but they were dealing with a UGA offense that looked stuck in 2009 again this year. Was really surprised at the apparent lack of development from Uiagalelei. I know his OL did him no favors, but he looked like he hadn't picked up a football in months. I don't put a ton of stock in week 1 games though... there's really no other Bama's out there that come out of the gate skull dragging good opponents year after year. A lot of these teams are much better than they showed today, and several are not nearly as good as they looked.

Tulane gave Oklahoma all they wanted, Georgia's D is good. Iowa looked decent, Thats all I got. Alabama did what they always do in game 1, Establish dominance, get the players use to game play, and win. I am pleased with the offense, and the addition of Jameson Williams is clearly genius and he will be a solid player. Bryce, looked steady, focused and did better than I expected. O line needs more time together they will be fine. Defense looked real good, injuries once again is a topic of discussion, and the linebacker core were all over the field. I really hate it for Allen. he was set to shine this year. K Reichard has me feeling real good about close games if that happens. All in all Bama did well,

Can you indentify the team or player who said this?

"That was one of the hardest hitting teams, one of the most physical teams I've played," *********** said. "They came out there, and they played great, better than us, for sure. They wanted to win more than us. You could tell it. We have to be cleaner, sharper, and have to be better."
