New season upcoming, new thread to follow along on the Bama guys... Might as well start it off with this news...

 

[It Takes Eleven]

With an outstanding game last night, Henry is now alone with the most 200-yard games in a career (7), breaking his tie with Simpson and Peterson.

He leapt over Peterson for the number four all-time in rushing TDs at 122, just one behind Allen for third.

He zoomed past Dorsett to break into the top ten in career yardage, and covered some ground in his pursuit of number nine Dickerson, now trailing by 367 yards.

In total yardage, there are now 14 HOF'ers behind him, and nine ahead (counting shoo-ins Gore and Peterson). If he never played another down, he's a lock for the HOF. Watching his highlights, I think he looked the quickest I've seen, at least in the second half of the season. Legendary conditioning paying off. I hope that translates into little drop-off for next season.

Browns beat the Steelers, so I think the winner of the Ravens/Steelers game is in the playoffs. Could be wrong, I don't follow it, but here's to Henry having a big game and being rewarded with a playoff berth after all of the injuries this year to that team.

Pats' Barmore facing assault and battery charge

Patriots defensive tackle Christian Barmore is facing a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery on a household/family member stemming from an August incident, according to court documents.

Looks like the Packers shut down Jacobs due to injury. He finishes with less than 1000 yards unfortunately again.

Didn't know it but Jameson Williams also has 1000 yards on the season now too. This is his second 1000-yard season.

Waddle is out today, so he ends right at 910 yards for the year. With better QB play, this guy could be a top 10 receiver. Tua started his career off decently with McDaniel but he has repressed due to injuries and not being able read defenses.

If Henry eclipses 150 yards tonight vs the Steelers, he can win the rushing crown.

Goodness gracious Derrick Henry just ripped off a huge opening run but a terrible call on the Ravens negates it. What a god awful call!

Nice PBU by Humprey on 1st down. Ravens up 10-3 with the ball, 5:47 before the half. Henry is right at 90 yards. Time to watch Harbaugh completely take him out of the game.
