🏈 🏈 Bama In The NFL - 2025-26 Season Updates & Highlights

New season upcoming, new thread to follow along on the Bama guys... Might as well start it off with this news...

Tua needs a reset in a new organization or simply just step away. He needs some dynamic playmakers around him and an OL to keep him upright.

He's in a bad spot in a lot of ways right now... looked like a QB with a dead arm the other day... maybe it needs some rest, but I'd imagine that hip injury is now starting to really take its toll on him in terms of the strength and power he had to put some zip on it (because he can't run worth a damn ether). And that loss of velocity has led to a decline in accuracy, which has always been his bread and butter. But, I'm thankful he got that big contract... he and his family will be well off if he never takes another snap. I'm sure he'll keep at it anyway, but it won't be for financial reasons.

I’ll never forget going to that 2nd scrimmage of the fall of the’17 season, his freshman year. I came home and told anyone that would listen that “that lefty freshman Tua can sling the piss out of it and can hit a gnat in the ass from 40 yards on a rope!” I said that we were in good hands should Jalen falter.
