Love and loath. That's the theme today.

I loath seeing some many different versions of uniforms, helmets, and the like in college football. Just pick one, then stay.

BUT, I love seeing the different renditions Army and Navy do with their uniforms.

I loath this day looking back and knowing it's the day I realized the season is about over. A decade ago this was the end of watching Bama compete for titles until the spring with softball; or the next year for football. Now, I love the fact we're sitting in December and talking about how far basketball with go in the tournament and not will they get an invitation.

As a kid, I loathed the idea of the disciline required to join the armed forces. I knew, early on, it wasn't for me. Now, I love to root for ...

My dad, uncle, grand father, grand uncle were all Navy. I was Navy JROTC in high school. Don’t know how many times I visited NAS PNS and the Naval Air Museum in my life but always looking forward to the next time especially for the Blue Angels.

Navy has a receiver with about 100 yards more receiving than our top receiver. That’s unusual! I’m not surprised they have 2 players with more rushing yards than our leader (almost have 5 higher than Jam), but having a receiver with 860 yards is a shocker.
