Milroe has always struggled with reading defenses. He doesn't have the mental aptitude for pre-snap reads, check downs, or coverage reads. He should've known it was time to check to the hot route and put a throw in there.

Of course. And we never utilize any quick passes or screens in situations like that anymore. Haven't run a proper RB screen since Sark. Just line up and run slow developing plays and get stopped.
