Graham Simpson threw for 566 and 7 TDs in the final today. Both are state records for a playoff game. He also holds the record for all time yards and TDs in a game (610 and 8TDs).
Maybe he’ll finally move up from 139th in his 2028 class rankings.
Nah...didn't look like running up the score. It was that bad of a mis match. Jackson played 2nd string about all of the 4the qrt. but left Crowell in to get the 4A state record. It wasn't like Anniston didn't know who was getting the ball. Saw a lot if good sportsmanship too. A lot of Anniston players were congratulating Crowell near the end of the game. Classy bunch.

Speaking of Alabama state finals, did you guys see The Hill won again yesterday after moving up to 3A? They’ve got a RB signing with Troy and one signing with UAB, I believe. I hope one day we get a kid to Bama. It’s still a young football program.

A little more detail on Graham’s championship game today. He was 12-14 for 510 and 6 TDs, and ran for 47 yards and a TD, in the first half! The first half! Only played one possession the second half and got the 7th TD pass.
The media around here drooled over Jerod Curtis’ game yesterday where he threw for 240 yards and they blew out USJ (private school mid-tier division). Graham destroyed a much better team and put up ungodly numbers, Curtis wasn’t even in the same stratosphere.
