📡 Amazon has held talks with Disney on a new ESPN streaming service that could cost between $20-$35 a month.

I didn't know that it came with Hulu.
Disney owns 67% of Hulu. Comcast owns the other 33%. Disney has full operating control through 2023. In 2024 Disney must buy out Comcast or sell out to Comcast. This agreement was made in 2019 and Disney has kicked it around both ways since then. Appears now that they will buy out Comcast.

I've never understood why they have horrible streaming quality and reliability, other than trying to cram as many commercials into it. For me, the commercials stream well, and then the content freezes.
HBO is even freaking worse. I had always read that the original HBO Max app was damn near duct taped and pasted together and that merging things with the Discovery app (which was supposedly better designed and more reliable) would make it 100 times better. Somehow they made it freaking worst. I think we're going on like three months of this app and it STILL doesn't pick up where you left off if you stopped a show or movie. It also randomly rewinds back halfway through the show. It's mind blowing how these billion dollar companies want to charge us $15-20 a month and just shovel BS in our laps.
