If my calculations are correct, and excluding the aubrun win, a win over Arkansas will tie Coach Saban with Spurrier's career SEC regular season victories. One more victory would leave Saban looking up at only Coach Bryant. Rare air.

I think they are only counting SEC wins, A&M was in a different conference like the Southwest or something when Coach Bryant was there.

Tell you what....Spurrier losing 14 games in 12 years, Bear losing 28 games in 25 years and Saban losing 16 games in 14 years. Pretty good coaching.

Whats crazy is the Bama factor. Look at guys like Stallings. Had a losing record as a head coach until he came to Bama. Averages 10 wins a year when the schedule was 11 games in the regular season. Saban was 30-12 at in 5 years at LSU. We know what happened to Fran when he left UA to go to aTm. There is something pretty special about Tuscaloosa.
